How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Sawari Pool account and associated data using either of the following methods:

Option 1 — In the App (fastest)

Open the Sawari Pool app and sign in
Go to the Profile tab
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account"
Choose a reason and confirm

Option 2 — Email Request

Send an email to support@sawaripool.com
Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
Send it from the email address registered with your Sawari Pool account
We will start the deletion within 7 business days

Changed your mind?

Your account is deactivated as soon as you request deletion, and permanently deleted 30 days later. Sign in to the app any time within those 30 days and choose Restore account to cancel the deletion.

What Data Is Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently deleted:

Your name, email address, and phone number
Profile photo
CNIC and vehicle information (drivers)
Chat messages you sent
Push notification tokens
Saved preferences and settings

What Data Is Retained

Some data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion to comply with legal obligations and resolve outstanding disputes:

Ride and booking records — kept in anonymised form (shown as "Deleted user", with no name or contact details) so other riders' trip history stays accurate
Reviews you wrote — remain on the other person's profile, attributed to "Deleted user"
Transaction records — retained as required by applicable law
Safety-related reports — retained if needed for ongoing investigations

All retained data is permanently deleted once the applicable retention period expires.

Deletion Timeline

Account deactivated: Immediately — you are signed out everywhere and upcoming rides and bookings are cancelled
Restore window: 30 days — sign in to restore your account
Personal data deleted: 30 days after your request. If there is an open dispute or safety investigation involving your account, deletion may be paused until it is resolved; we will email you if this happens
Backups: Purged within 90 days
